Key voices from the Hyku community, including the British Library, Notch8, PALCI, PALNI, and Ubiquity Press, will discuss their perspective on what makes Hyku the solution for various use cases. This will not be a list of project updates, but instead be a dialogue about what makes Hyku a versatile platform and why it was chosen for our projects. Hyku users and potential adopters will benefit from the opportunity to ask questions and come away with a greater understanding of this continually evolving repository platform. A lightning talk at Samvera Virtual Connect 2018 described thus and Beginning in April, folks from DuraSpace, Stanford University, Digital Curation Experts, CoSector (U. of London), Ubiquity Press, Texas Digital Library and Notch8 have been meeting to discuss their experiences hosting Hyku and develop a roadmap for its future. This presentation will update the Samvera community on the work group members have done to host and implement Hyku, plans for future work, and present several topics for consideration such as a potential governance structure and the feasibility of Hyku going forward.
